Formerly, Director of Music at an exclusive downtown Manhattan learning center; Piano Faculty (both Suzuki and Traditional programs), Chamber Music Coordinator and Instructor, Senior Accompanist of the Lawrence Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies of Music, Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, CUNY; currently Piano Faculty at The School for Strings; and Owner and Founder of Tribeca Piano at New York City, Marta Abraham is a recognized piano instructor in New York City. She also has a vast experience in performance as chamber musician and accompanist.
She has been teaching all ages and levels – from children as young as 3 to adults, and beginners to advanced pianists.
Marta is a certified Suzuki piano teacher, but she teaches traditional students, as well.
Several of the students she had been working with as accompanist or as chamber music coach were accepted to prestigious music schools, like Juilliard School of Music, Mannes College of Music, NYC; Bloomington University of Indiana, Yale University, among others.
Her students love her very much for her friendly and passionate approach to music teaching.
